Welcome to the home of the Melvin McCall Memorial Golf Tournament. Our tournament has successfully raised money to support brain tumor research and programs.
This tournament was established in memory of James Melvin McCall, late father of Lee McCall (Michael Waltrip Racing) and Shawn McCall, who lost his battle with brain cancer in April 2000. We benefit The Brain Tumor Awareness Organization and the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke.
The McCall Family hopes to play a part in the big picture, a cure for brain tumors. We support the small steps necessary along the way in finding a cure, educating family and friends of those affected by brain tumors and making resources available to them.

Raise awareness by wearing your Grey Ribbon and supporting our tournament which is held each year in May during
"National Brain Tumor Awareness Month"

The Brain Tumor Awareness Organization was founded by Julie Houston of Marietta, SC and is the lone organization in South Carolina focusing on and providing education, support and resources available for those who suffer with Brain Tumors.
